Pay the tax
At your bank, as always. Luggom never touches the money and never asks for access to your account.
Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's. Take your LUG.
Luggom turns tax you actually paid into money. No third parties, no KYC, only the cryptographic proof that you paid.

TLSNotary terminates the TLS connection outside the browser and reveals only the receipt. No password, no personal data.
The notary signs the receipt; the chain verifies the signature and mints. Each receipt mines exactly once.
The reference value of LUG is the average of three strong currencies, times three, growing 10% per year. The multiplier lives in the code, out of governance reach.
LUG = ( EUR/USD + GBP/USD + CHF/USD ) / 3 × 3 · +10%/yr
Three phases, each summing to 100%. The OTC share begins in Phase 2, when the pool opens.
| Component | Phase 1 | Transition | Phase 2 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Miner | 30 | 30 | 30 |
| Pre-sale | 35 | – | – |
| OTC LOCKED | – | – | 40 |
| Staking reservoir | 7.5 | 30 | 10 |
| ATOM reservoir | 7.5 | 30 | 10 |
| Founder | 5 | 5 | 5 |
| Validators | 3 | 3 | 3 |
| Governance reserve | 2 | 2 | 2 |
| POOL | 10 | – | – |
| Total | 100 | 100 | 100 |
40% of everything mined goes to the OTC vault. LUG can only be bought with BTC, in lots of 100,000 LUG, at that day's basket price.
It would only move with an 87% governance vote, to migrate to equal-or-stronger custody — which does not exist today. In practice, the BTC dies there. The reserve does not defend the price: it removes the run.
LUG leaves the vault only by being bought at the basket, never by vote. It is a supply wall, not a box to spend.
One center of gravity and two reservoirs. None of them is a promise: all three live in the code.
Cosmos network · ATOM
The reference rises 10% per year, compounded from year zero. It is the center of gravity of LUG: the market price orbits the basket, above and below, without being tethered to it.
10% per year of balance, funded by the mining split. It prints no new coin and stays inside the 7B cap.
A further 10% per year for whoever locks 100 ATOM, up to the combined cap of 25% per year. 100 ATOM, double staking.
The proof needs an environment a phone cannot honestly provide. So only the miner is a desktop application — the wallet lives in your pocket or on your computer.
Native app (Tauri). Connects to the node, proves the payment and mines. Your key never leaves the machine.
Balance, receive, send and statement. Everything signed on the device, with no server in the middle.
People who explain to taxpayers and companies how to pay IPTU, property tax and other real taxes and receive LUG — charging a commission in LUG negotiated freely. The protocol neither sets nor charges that commission.
Companies in any sector already pay tax. By mining, they turn that payment into LUG — and can distribute part of it to employees. The native pool (AMM) is the exit where the price forms: it orbits the basket, above and below.
It is the tax that was already leaving, turned into an asset. The protocol never touches the money nor asks for account access.
Part of the mined LUG can go to employees as a stake — value circulates inside the network.
The native pool gives LUG liquidity. The price orbits the basket, above and below, with no floor or ceiling imposed by the protocol.
Today there is one bank proven end to end — Viacredi, in Brazil. A new bank lights up when a community member delivers a sanitised real receipt: we confirm the rail's canonical field and every customer of that bank can then mine.
The basket, the cap, the fee and the split are compiled constants: no vote can change them. What should evolve, like the bank list and the tax entities, lives in parameters, with rules. The real immutability is Shamir: it guards the code.
The public network runs luggom-test. The binaries are available; the validator guide ships with the testnet package.
